Polybar 5^® T casing is a type of product used in pasteurization process and high temperature sterilization. In comparison to other multilayer casings it contains a doubled water barrier and increased resistance to temperatures and pressure. Addidtionally, this product shows higher strength during stuffing and clipping.

Polybar 5^® T is manufactured in calibers from 40 to 110 millimeters.

In order to prove unique properties of this casing we commissioned an accredited research and development laboratory  to carry out a research concerning impermeability of oxygen and water vapour. Results which are compliant with the ASTM D 3985-05 and ASTM F 1249-05 norms are presented in the table below:

Applications of this product:

• products which undergo a process of sterilization in autoclaves,
• wet animal feed,
• giblet products.
